Royal Sea Cliff Kona by Outrigger

Very nice resort, we experienced a quiet stay. Location to town is great, however a rental car is suggested. The staff were all fantastic. The pools are right by the shoreline so to sit and listen to the waves crashing is very relaxing. The only thing that would make it much better would be if a restaurant was on site for the days you don’t feel like cooking or going into town to eat.

This is one of the nicest suites we’ve stayed in. Like, ever. We had room 314, and it simply doesn’t get much better. We had a commanding view of the ocean, with the waves lapping the shore. I always sleep like a baby with the noise of the ocean. Everything was clean and the landscaping was beautiful. This suite had two large bedrooms, and two large baths. The kitchen and living room were well appointed. The deck off the bedroom was 400 sq ft- larger than most hotel rooms. We spent more time there than inside. There is a second smaller, covered deck, if you need to stay out of the sun. If we return to Kona, we will be sure to stay here again.

Love the location. So close to the middle of it all in downtown Kona. Every single staff person was so so nice. The rooms were clean and spacious. I would definitely recommend! Most rooms won't have an ocean view because of the limited number that have them that aren't owner occupied but we were lucky enough to snag one. The quiet pool is a must for adults who want a nice day by the pool with the sound of the ocean. We had a mobile massage company come bring a table down there and it was perfection.

I had an absolutely delightful experience at the Royal Sea Cliff Konami by Outrigger. The breathtaking ocean views, coupled with impeccable service, created a perfect retreat. The spacious and well-appointed rooms, along with the tranquil ambiance, made my stay truly memorable. The staff's warmth and attention to detail exceeded my expectations, enhancing the overall sense of luxury. I highly recommend this resort for anyone seeking a serene and indulgent getaway.

Stayed in 709. Spacious unit with a great view. Master suite was lovely with plush comfortable mattress & wonderful attached bathroom. The washer/dryer was the best one I have ever used in a condo. Well equipped kitchen & nice appliances. TVs in living room & both bedrooms were very nice & easy to use. However this unit needs some updating, furniture was OLD, new paint & area carpet needed, floor tiles & countertops are ugly. The outdoor patio furniture was broken & uncomfortable. The north pool was awesome, parking was convenient, vending machines could be removed as they were nearly empty. Felt safe & it was easy to get around. Great location with a short drive to area restaurants & shops! Overall I recommend this facility!

Love our condo and sunset view. We booked through WestJet. It was well equipped with a full kitchen, washer and dryer was a bonus to wash our towels and clothing throughout the week, beach equipment was available , pools and parking great. The only draw back was the one time cleaning fee. $528.00 CAD. The cleaning service happens after you leave. So once you pay for your package, expect this additional expense.

I'm going to start this off by saying that we probably got one of the cheaper rooms. However, that doesn't excuse a lot of what I saw. Sheets had not been changed. I know this because there was hair all over my pillow, and the same hair was all over the shower wall. This brings me to the bathroom had not been cleaned. Hair, dirt, general gross, and upkeep weren't done. The kitchen had roaches. When they called, we told them that there were roaches. No effort to change suites or refund had been made. Their only solution was to spray, which helps in the long term, but did not help in the short term. The next night, we still found more roaches. The one staff person we had consistent interaction with was pushy and did not have any consideration that this was our vacation. Consistently called every morning at 8 am to push us to go to this 2 hour "program," which is just a giant sales pitch. He would get less than polite every time we politely declined. A lot of the pictures I've seen were nothing like the rooms we stayed in. And while we could see the beach from one of the pathways, it's not easy beach access as it's mostly steep rock between land and sea. Overall, this whole experience was quite upsetting. We had come here because the place we were originally staying at burned in the Maui fires, and this was not even a comfort to come back to.
